Het doel van de galerie is het promoten van illustratie, een artistieke praktijk die weinig vertegenwoordigd is in Brussel.
De uitgenodigde kunstenaars zijn vrij om de ruimte naar eigen goeddunken te bezetten gedurende één of twee maanden, afhankelijk van de kalender.
De galerie Ton Piquant is geheel vrijwillig, de kunstenaar beheert zijn of haar verkoop in eigen beheer en recupereert het totaal van deze verkoop.
Door de ruimte op deze manier aan kunstenaars ter beschikking te stellen, ontstaat een lokale en sociale artistieke uitwisseling.

The aim of the gallery is to promote illustration, an artistic practice that is little represented in Brussels.
The invited artists are free to occupy the space as they wish for one or two months depending on the calendar.
The Ton Piquant gallery is entirely voluntary, the artist manages his or her sales privately and recovers the totality of these sales.
Making the space available to artists in this way creates a local and social artistic exchange.
